Pre Production
Contrary to popular belief, Pre Production is the most important phase of successful filmmaking.
The major motion studios spend >$100,000,000 to compensate for their lack of proper planning, talentless leadership, & repetitive propaganda-like story telling. We at Sasaki Studios don't have that kind of money to waste.
So we first start by recognizing the resources we already have access to & then building a story around that. We treasure our resources because they are donated by our members.
Sasaki Studios is based on synergy, where one plus one equals 3. Each of our members contribute in our own way in whatever way we can. That is why we succeed.
Production
Planning right minimizes the time spent on set. We memorize our lines, made our storyboards, planned our shots, rehearsed blocking on location, etc, so our shooting days go smoothly.
In addition to beautiful venues, we use professional equipment to ensure that we have the footage that the editor requires. Our cast & crew is well fed, with food donated from our own members.
Unlike other teams where those below the line are running around to make up for the incompetence & lack of foresight of those above the line, Sasaki Studio prides ourselves at having time to teach our members so that they can grow with us.
You can have a lot of fun when you are not under the gun. Come give our team a try & compare it to your other experiences on set.
Post Production
We know that all our hard work planning & executing pays off in post production.
Sasaki Studios use premium tools for editing, sound production, and special effects to reach a final product that we can all be proud of.
We aim to submit our films to film festivals where we have found great success. And of course, we always have a wrap party. : )

The film industry is very, very difficult.
But it isn’t difficult because you need looks, talent, & drive; it is difficult because despite having that, you usually fail to those who lack those qualities but instead have money, connections, & use underhanded tactics to get & stay ahead.
I myself know from a mountain of bad experiences that this not just true in the film industry but in every aspect of life.
Here at Sasaki Studios, we aim to build a family where we help lift each other up instead of walk all over each other.
We are not an organization which bleeds its members dry with fees & where its leaders just pat each others’ backs for mediocre work derived from the sweat equity of its members.
